The relatively few survivors live in sealed-off Dome Cities ruled by the TechDominion, a rigid police state. An Oligarchic Class has evolved that controls and predates upon these masses for organs to extend their own lives. Trapped in this tightly-constrained world, the rest of the inhabitants have two diversions: the Tranquility and Ecstasy drugs - or the Time Gates. A select few choose the latter, and tackle 200-kg proto-leopards in 12,000 BC East Africa, fight for hostages in Warwick Castle in Medieval England, meet Jack the Ripper in 19th Century London, and hide in early 20th Century Paris from the terrifying TechDominion Purifiers. One man chooses to fight the Grays, the Oligarchs who rule this Wasteland, also called the Eaters of Souls for their predatory elitism. Captured twice, he escapes from an asteroid prison with help from two surprising and unusual women who never meet. This man is different: his golden eyes are just the most superficial distinguishing characteristic of Homo Fulcrum, the newest hominid species on Earth that threatens the TechDominion’s very existence. To them, he is… The Alien.
