|About the Book|
Throughout history females have struggled with rights and independence to vote, to work and just to be treated and seen equally as men. In World War II women were to work while the men went off to the war. The jobs and positions that were left were not the best conditions to work in but being the breadwinner in that time they had no other choice. Here on after the men have returned from war, women fought for their rights to remain working to be independent. Although gaining rights to be able to work did not necessarily mean that they will receive the same respect as a male.
